A Conversation Between Me And My Muslim Coworker This Morning (Not Racist)

"I feel tired, and my back hurts." says my muslim coworker.

Remembering a prior conversation we had about his sleeping habits, I replied: "Well, you should really stop sleeping on the floor. Whats wrong with a bed?" I ask.

"I am used to floor, in my country we use floor." He replied.

"You know, a bed would really be more comfortable, and better for your back." I say

"But it make too much noise when you push it. Like a squeak." He says.

"Oh, I guess it's kinda quiet where you're from. What about earplugs?" I say.

"No no no, you don't understand. I have kids. They are too young." He says.

Confused, I ask "What do you mean?"

"I have wife." He says.
